Meet Stephanie Gibson
When I was a child, I used to do all the baking in our house. I started off with box cake mixes, homemade cinnamon rolls, as well as chocolate chip cookies from scratch, my all-time personal FAVE!

I used to rummage the pages of my mom’s Betty Crocker cookbook looking at all the pictures, especially the dessert section, and gaining knowledge from all the recipes. I turned into a bit of a dessert nerd! What I also loved about baking was educating myself on the origin of my favorite desserts. Something that is a great conversation starter.

At that time, I was also obsessed with the fashion industry and becoming a fashion designer. Fast forward many years later, I realized that my passion wasn’t for fashion, but for baking. It’s been a part of me my entire life and I hadn’t realized it.
Who knew?
As a grown-up, I decided to tackle my mom’s famous cream cheese pound cake from scratch, which she passed down. When my friends tasted the cake, I knew I was on to something. They had crumb fights!

Now that I’m free of my past, I have decided to live my REAL passion. I’d like to introduce you to Love, London Sweets, named for my daughter, London, based out of Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, NY.
​
Not only is baking what I love to do, it is also my way of teaching my daughter about being self-sufficient, owning her own business, and making her own way from her own efforts.
​
This bakery is a love lesson for both of us and I hope to be an example to her and all the little girls out there whipping up delicious treats in their kitchens!
